Patrol Minutes

  • Joseph L started to organize the meals for our up coming camp out.

Fox 40 News was this morning, July 2nd. It went very well.

  • Contact Joshua C for more Jamboree details.

Patrol Positions

  • Matthew D is Patrol Leader for the month of July.
  • Jason is the Assistant Patrol Leader.
  • Joshua C is the Grub Master.
  • Joseph L will be Chief Cook for the July 25-27 Donner Lake Camp out.
  • Wesley K will be Quarter Master for the Donner Lake Campout.
  • John D is Patrol Cheer Leader.

And, yours truly is Patrol Scribe.

Duties of Patrol Members according to the BSA Junior leader handbook:

Patrol Leader: Keeps patrol members informed, plans and steers patrol meetings.

Assistant Patrol Leader: helps to keep the patrol members informed and helps the patrol leader plan and steer patrol meetings.

Patrol Scribe: Keeps attendance records of meetings, dues and advancements. Keeps everyone on track and headed in the right direction.

Grub-master: Is the menu planner and food shopper. Works out what the menu is and how much it will cost tells the scribe who keeps record of how much has being paid by each member.

Patrol Quartermaster: keeps record of Patrol equipment and makes sure it is in working order. Makes sure their is enough equipment for camp-outs.

Cheer-master: Keeps the morale of the patrol high.

Chief cook: Gathers the food from the chow box and organizes cooking the meal.
