Eternal Flame Weekend

While some people think we are burning flags, it is appropriate to say we are “Retiring” Flags.  Boy Scouts Troop 107, along with the Pioneer District, will opnce again be to this year’s Eternal Flame and Advancement Weekend. Throughout the 40-hour event we will “Retire” roughly 2,700 US flags.  People don’t know what to do with their old flags.  We are able to help them with this dilemma.  Troops within our Council and the public are invited to our free annual event, located near downtown Sacramento.  Camp Pollock, located at 1501 Northgate Blvd., is close to the intersection of Del Paso Blvd and Northgate Blvd.  Throughout Saturday, October 4, guests can come the participate in various events.  This year’s theme is based on the Star Wars series. All events will have a “Star Wars” theme to them.
